looking for gigs?
We love scouring for new talent, which means going to lots of gigs! For our show promotions bands get well looked after at our shows. Refreshingly, we don’t ask out of town bands to bring a 50ft coach load of fans with them either – we just ask they make the best effort they can, and stick them in-between local acts. Hardly rocket science is it?
BANDS IF YOU WANT A GIG: Please email us a bit about your band and a myspace/website link to your songs to demos@bwmusic.co.uk but if you want, you can also just send us a friend request. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY ATTACHMENTS UNLESS REQUESTED! Those emails will have to be deleted immediately. We listen to every friend request and catalogue any good band’s details in a database, upon which we will contact you if we can offer anything appropriate. We are not so good at dealing with myspace messages. We definitely prefer people emailing us on the email addresses at the bottom of this text.
DEMO FEEDBACK: We do get A LOT of bands in contact with us. The truth is, alot of our time is spent on booking tours and national press work for the bands we are already working with. For this reason, we simply can not get back to all the bands who get in contact with us. We strongly prefer bands to contact us to our email address rather than myspace, for the simple reason that it is much easier to manage our mails rather than myspace! You can also post demos to us, but we can not return them. We are unlikely to be able to respond to every mail we get, but if you do want feedback, and haven’t heard from us, feel free to call us for follow up.
